Hi folks, thanks to Laurie for letting us know about Post Foods “Bowls of Hope” program. Post Foods, in partnership with Feeding America, will donate up to 15 million balanced breakfasts to struggling Americans. For each purchase of a specially-marked cereal — including Post Shredded Wheat Original, Post Shredded Wheat Spoon Size Original, Post Shredded Wheat and Bran, Post Shredded Wheat Lightly Frosted, and Post Shredded Wheat Honey Nut — Post Foods will donate one balanced breakfast.

Skip a Lunch is an idea I had after reading an article in the National Geographic on the spread of malaria. It turned out for a mere $10 you could buy a family in Africa a mosquito net through the American Red Cross. I spend $10 every time I frequent a Starbucks, so why shouldn't I skip one lunch or cinnamon dolce latte and help save a child? I did. Will you?
